Escape Life Inc, operator of LazyFans™ ("Platform"), respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512. This policy explains how to submit a copyright infringement notice, how we process such notices, and how to file a counter-notification.
If you believe that content on the Platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our Designated Copyright Agent. To be valid under the DMCA, your notice must include all of the following:
Notices that do not include all required elements may not be actioned. Submitting a false DMCA notice may expose you to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), including damages and legal fees.
Submit completed DMCA notices to our Designated Copyright Agent:

We recommend submitting notices by email for fastest processing.
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will:
Where a notice satisfies all of the requirements in Section 1.1, we remove or disable access to the identified material expeditiously, and we do not weigh the merits of the claim before acting. Where a notice is incomplete, or does not identify the material in enough detail for us to locate it, we may ask the sender for clarification before acting. Questions of authorisation and fair use are resolved through the counter-notification process in Section 4, not by delaying removal.
If your content has been removed as a result of a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was in error (e.g., because you have the right to use the content, or because of misidentification), you may file a counter-notification.
Send counter-notifications to: support@lazyfans.com (subject line: "DMCA Counter-Notification")
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will:
It is our policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. We maintain records of all DMCA notices received and track repeat infringement activity. Accounts found to be repeatedly uploading infringing content are subject to permanent termination.
The DMCA takedown process is intended to protect legitimate copyright interests. Misuse of this process — including submitting false, frivolous, or bad-faith notices — is a serious matter. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that content is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees, incurred by the affected party.
We take abuse of the DMCA process seriously and reserve the right to take appropriate action against parties who submit false or abusive notices.
This policy applies specifically to copyright infringement claims under the DMCA. For claims involving trademark infringement, defamation, or other intellectual property issues, please contact us at support@lazyfans.com with full details of your claim. Our Designated Copyright Agent handles copyright claims only; other claims are handled by our Trust & Safety team.
